Battling beetles and celebrating the harvest!

Silda cherry picking only the best fruit for your jam!
Dear Friends,
This summer brought its share of challenges here in the Hudson Valley. A Japanese beetle blight tested my plants (and my patience!), and like so many of life’s hurdles, it reminded me that growth often comes hand-in-hand with struggle. As September arrives, I’m reminded that harvest is about more than just gathering crops: it’s about resilience.
Still, the fields are yielding their bounty and I’m excited for the abundance we’re able to share with you. Each jar of Silda’s Jam represents not only the fruit of the season but also the perseverance it took to bring it to your table.
This means our shelves are still full of delicious flavors ready for you to enjoy. It’s the perfect time to stock your pantry, gift a friend, or simply savor the taste of summer as the days turn crisp.
Thank you, as always, for supporting this labor of love. Your encouragement helps us turn challenges into sweet rewards.
With gratitude,
Silda
