Embracing Winter's Beauty + Giving Back

Dear Jam Fam,

February has turned the Hudson Valley into a breathtaking, crystalline wonderland. This past weekend, as I hiked behind Stissing Mountain, I couldn’t help but pause and take in the quiet magic of winter: the way the snow sparkles in the sunlight, the crisp air that awakens the senses, and the deep stillness that invites reflection. 

Winter’s beauty reminds me of what makes this community so special, not just its landscapes but its people. The slower season gives us a chance to appreciate the warmth of connection, to support one another, and to give back in ways that matter. Through Silda’s Jam, I’m grateful to be part of this cycle by bringing a bit of sweetness to your tables while also partnering with COARC of Columbia County to support meaningful work in our region.
