Dyeing eggs is one of our favorite spring and summertime traditions because it brings the whole family together. If you want to dye eggs this year, here’s an easy recipe:

  1. Mix 1/2 cup boiling water, 1 teaspoon vinegar, and 10-20 drops of food coloring in a cup to achieve desired shade.
  2. Repeat for each color.

  1. Dip hard-cooked eggs in dye for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove with a spoon.
  3. Let air dry on the egg crate.

After the eggs have been dyed, and the decorations have been set, it’s time to eat – and our jam is the perfect accompaniment for brunch.
